About our team
Our Language Cloud Customer Portal team is mostly based in Cluj-Napoca, but on a day to day basis you will work with colleagues from UK as well. Joining us you will find smart, funny, creative colleagues that help and collaborate with each other to achieve our goals.
We are working on RWS Products that interact and are part of the RWS Language Cloud and Translation Management Systems.

As part of our team you will:

• Design and develop high quality solutions in line with our department standards and strategy;

• Work alongside the Technical Domain Owner, QA, Product Owner and UX to design, scope, build and release features;

• Analyze feature requirements and transform them in technical tasks;

• Work with QA to troubleshoot failures in the various test environments;

• Troubleshoot and fix Production issues coming from customers;

• Contribute to establishing new team processes and refine existing ones;

• Our technical stack includes C#, Web API, ASP.Net Framework, SQLServer, Javascript, Git and AzureDevOps;

Desired skills

• 4+ years of software development experience

• Excellent understanding of C#, .Net Framework, OOP and Design Patterns

• Experience in building web applications using ASP.NET framework

• Good software design skills

• Ability to troubleshoot, communicate and resolve generalized system, data, and/or application issues;

• Understanding and use of APIs in micro-services architecture, cloud-based platforms and data processing in the cloud;

• Exceptional attention to detail;

• Great verbal communication skills, practical documentation and writing skills;

• Ability to work in a distributed team and adjust to shifting priorities;

• Good understanding of agile development practices

Nice to have

• Experience with .Net core

• Experience with JavaScript/JavaScript frameworks or libraries

• Experience with SQL Server (medium-high complexity stored procedures)

• Knowledge of other programming language (eg. Java)
